The mission of Colegio Americano de El Salvador is to provide a bicultural spanish-english academic program which encourages the development of good christian values, study habits, skills, and attitudes towards learning, which will develop the necessary tools to take decisions and solve life situations, which will allow a successful development in the society they live in.
Somos una institución educativa bilingüe, Inglés  Español que propicia el desarrollo integral del educando mediante la formación de valores cristianos, hábitos, destrezas y actitudes que faciliten desarrollar competencias para la toma de decisiones y la solución de problemas, que les permita un desempeño exitoso en la sociedad donde les corresponde vivir.
The American School of El Salvador was created in order to become one of the most prestigious bilingual institutions in our country, providing an educational base of excellence resting in christian values which will prepare our students to successfully face life, as well as scientific, technological and human knowledge.
The American School of El Salvador in its every day actions, from kindergarten through high school owns the principles which guide our students: - Apply in all their actions the principles of their statement of faith - Act within the framework of always telling the truth and nothing but the truth. - Cultivate scientific spirit, ethics, accuracy, timeliness and responsibility for all actions in life. - Encourage justice and respect the rights of others as guidelines for harmonious coexistence in our society.
